HUGE FEEDBACK OF MY EDU. TECH. CLASS

Welcome to my goodbye post for my Educational Technologies class. We have come to the end of the term and our lessons has ended. I want to share my feedback of this class in this post.

First of all, if I am blogging and opened this blog, it is thanks to this course. On this course you not only do homeworks or learn some stuff, also you create materials, works on your own. Every week we learned new things about technology for education. We learned about web tools to creating posters, reviewing films to podcasting. So we have seen almost any useful things for education with technology. I saw many brand new things on this course that I had never seen before. Because of that situation I want to thank my lecturer Dr. Kurt for all these things and encouragement for writing.

I had a intention to write before too but I never started to doing it. Yet now thanks to this class, I started in some way. I am creating reviews, maybe articles and guides. I am really happy and glad for these.

In the beginnin, I was afraid of the need of hard work for this class because you should spare much time for creating materials. So I wasn't willing to do things much. Then, I realized that it is worth it. Because I said to myself "Yeah you know about technology, but there are more things to explore" and I decided to follow everything about this course, I knew that I will need this technics and tools in my future classes so I need to work hard.

If you ask me what would you change about this course or improve, I can't think of right now but for my friends who also take this course have some ideas but for me it was enough and benefical.

Finally, I liked most about this course, it is not boring, you do something any minute you don't stop and you use computer. That is the exact reason why we should use technology for education because in 21st century students get bored a lot without technology, they grow up with technology, you can not seperate them with technology easily. Yet there were some diffucilties also, for example we take courses out of this course so sometimes it was hard to submit works on time in busy moments but I handled it.

Thank you for reading it and all my posts. This could be my last post or maybe not. I will try to continue my blog. Stay with fun all the time!

I TURNED THE PROJECT INTO TECHNOLOGY ENHANCED PROJECT!

              Today I will show you how I changed the way of using our coursebook in lesson. I had a one topic of teaching english in coursebook and I made it technologically enhanced homework for my students.              I had a weathers unit in my coursebook. There were a lot of exercises informations about it and lots of guides to teach it properly. But it wasn't enough for me. I wanted more to teach my students. I made what I learned from my course and I tried to make it technologically enhanced. I made some instructions to my students to follow. I found a subject related to weathers which is Global Warming. And I asked them to research about it and create a video about it using Powtoon. HERE'S A GOODBYE

This my goodbye post for this blog. I decided to start again this semester because of my new course material design in order to share posts about it and this my last post basically a goodbye post. Throughout this semester I created lots of things and I have a lot of things to do in my teachers years to teach my students. I have learned so much things this semester again like the other one but this semester has a unique thing by itself. Coronavirus as you guessed. Because of the coronavirus we have done our studies by using our laptops and mobile phones. Actually that was a strange experience that it has been really a good guide about how you can use technology on teaching. It was like related to our course Material Design. Maybe a preview of future education. I must say it would have been better if none of things had happened but this is life everything is possible. About the course I really learned so much things. VOCABULARY TEACHING VIDEO!!!

Hello, today we are going to talk about my second flipped classroom work. You know that last time I preapared flipped classroom teaching video about grammar with my friend. Today I am going to show you one more but this one is about vocabulary. This week we prepared a teaching video for 4th grade students. In this video we explain words given on the video and teach it to students by narrating. In my opinion for early age students using visuals is really crucial. Young students can easily be distracted by other thing if you explain things in a boring way. Children needs to entertain while learning. Of course there are disadvantages like they can want more and see this as a game. We should arrange the balance. About preparation part of this video was really good. We did a good team work with my friend and we enjoyed while preparing this. It is easy to prepare such a video and helpful to your teaching part.
