HERE'S A GOODBYE

This my goodbye post for this blog. I decided to start again this semester because of my new course material design in order to share posts about it and this my last post basically a goodbye post. Throughout this semester I created lots of things and I have a lot of things to do in my teachers years to teach my students. I have learned so much things this semester again like the other one but this semester has a unique thing by itself. Coronavirus as you guessed. Because of the coronavirus we have done our studies by using our laptops and mobile phones. Actually that was a strange experience that it has been really a good guide about how you can use technology on teaching. It was like related to our course Material Design. Maybe a preview of future education. I must say it would have been better if none of things had happened but this is life everything is possible. About the course I really learned so much things. I TURNED THE PROJECT INTO TECHNOLOGY ENHANCED PROJECT!

              Today I will show you how I changed the way of using our coursebook in lesson. I had a one topic of teaching english in coursebook and I made it technologically enhanced homework for my students.              I had a weathers unit in my coursebook. There were a lot of exercises informations about it and lots of guides to teach it properly. But it wasn't enough for me. I wanted more to teach my students. I made what I learned from my course and I tried to make it technologically enhanced. I made some instructions to my students to follow. I found a subject related to weathers which is Global Warming. And I asked them to research about it and create a video about it using Powtoon. VOCABULARY TEACHING VIDEO!!!

Hello, today we are going to talk about my second flipped classroom work. You know that last time I preapared flipped classroom teaching video about grammar with my friend. Today I am going to show you one more but this one is about vocabulary. This week we prepared a teaching video for 4th grade students. In this video we explain words given on the video and teach it to students by narrating. In my opinion for early age students using visuals is really crucial. Young students can easily be distracted by other thing if you explain things in a boring way. Children needs to entertain while learning. Of course there are disadvantages like they can want more and see this as a game. We should arrange the balance. About preparation part of this video was really good. We did a good team work with my friend and we enjoyed while preparing this. It is easy to prepare such a video and helpful to your teaching part. I CREATED A GRAMMAR TEACHING VIDEO W/ MY FRIEND!!!

In last material desing lessons we talked about teaching online. One of the ways of doing is creating a grammar teaching video by using variety of tools. Grammar teaching video is a video lesson that created by educators. There is a lecture telling inside of the video by narrator educator. It is a ongoing lesson that don't stop. It is a entertaining lesson and has a multiple materials to teach student effectively. You can use music, visual, extra video, examples, test etc. It is a open world. Also students chance of boring is very low. Because it is technology and today's world love technology, mostly the kids so students. So that it is very useful way to create "Grammar Teaching Video" and use it in your lessons with your students. We, my friend Berkan and I, created a Grammar Teaching Video together by using Powtoon. Creating A Handout by using AR!!

Welcome to my blog again. Today I will introduce my handout that created by AR technology. With my group Berkan Güneş and I created a city guide handout for student. In this handouts you can see landmarks of the city, informations about those and what to see in that city. Also there are many questions to ask and a project to student do. Teaching Material Using Corpus!

Hi welcome to my blog. Today I am going to introduce you the last project of our Material Desing course this semester, with my friend Berkan. This week we created our first teaching material by using corpus. In last weeks, in lesson we saw new websites and technics to create teaching material. And best way to do this is gathering information from other materials. Using corpus of one subject and detecting it in other materials helps you a lot. So we took advantage of using corpus and created a great indeductive worksheet for highschool students. I hope this will be benefical for you and you learned something from it. I am BACK!!!

Hello followers, if you are exist by the way:) I am back again. This semester I will talk about and share contents about my new technology class called Material Design. I left blogging last semester because my class ended and I thougth I can't find content anymore so I finished it. Yet, now I started again because as I told I love writing and now I have subjects again so I will continue. In Material Design class we will learn use technology for our major. In previous class we learned how to use? Yes. But now we will use really. We will create corpuses exercises videos etc. I am sure we will have a lot of fun.
